Simply an amazing experience! A little oasis in the middle of the Amazon. The staff was amazing and greeted us with drinks and cold towels after our excursions. We let Marden, our guide, plan our four day visit and he didn’t disappoint! We saw pink dolphin and a magnificent sunset on our first night. The next day was an early morning boat ride to explore the river. We saw three different types of monkeys, sloths, red and blue Machaw and plenty of other wildlife. Marden could find animals by listening to the sounds. He told us all about how he grew up in the jungle and studies to become a guide. He took us on a nature walk for about 2 hours and explained how the natives used different plants for medicinal purposes. Jose was a great captain and made the boat rides relaxing. Fishing and eating piranha and sardines was awesome! Great experience and we are glad we spend our 25th anniversary with the Treehouse Lodge and Staff.
